This is very much dependent on you! The video content is approximately 4 hours, however you may not need all 7 modules for your business. I’ve designed this course and template to help you build your site ASAP. Starting with my template will give you a leg-up since you won’t be started from scratch.

Squarespace Business plan (see current pricing here) and your domain renewal. Squarespace currently offers a free domain with paid website subscription for the first year. If you don’t already have a domain, this is a great option!

You don’t need to be! If you’re already comfortable creating graphics for your business in Canva, you can easily translate those skills to build your site. If you are looking for a more custom approach on a budget, check out my Design Collaboration Program where you add the content, and I add custom design to your site.

You don’t technically need to have a logo to launch your website. You can use the heading font of your website to include your business name in your website header and footer, and when you have a logo someday, you’ll have the training video to add it. That’s fine! In the PDF, you’ll find links to several great free stock photo resources where you can find images to fit your industry. I also highly recommend that you include several photos of yourself on the site. If you don’t have professional headshots, that’s okay! Ask a friend to take your photo using portrait mode on their smart phone in a natural light setting (think cloudy day or light shade - not direct sunlight).

This is no problem at all. In fact, if you built your site awhile ago, it’s likely it was built on Squarespace 7.0, and there’s no time like present to upgrade (you’ll love the new features!). You’ll build your new website on my template, and once you’re ready to go live, you can simply point the domain to the new website. Squarespace subscriptions are not transferable from site to site, however, so if you’ve already paid for the year on your old site, you’ll want to keep that in mind. Instructions for connecting your domain are provided through Squarespace and in my training videos.

No problem! Depending on where your domain is registered, you’ll simply point the domain to the new Squarespace website. Instructions for connecting your domain are provided through Squarespace and in my training videos. Once this is complete, you may cancel the hosting plan for your other platform (Wordpress, Wix, etc).

Instructions are included in the training videos, but you can begin looking for one now. I recommend purchasing your domain through Squarespace to keep billing and launching you site simple!

This kit is ideal for service-based businesses. Module 7 covers adding eCommerce to your Squarespace site, which is perfect for selling a little swag, digital downloads, etc. on your Squarespace website.
However, if the main focus of your business is to sell physical or digital products online, Shopify is likely the best way to go for numerous reasons (read more about this here).
